Solidarity tours

Heritage tours

Heritage tours are 2- to 6-day tours to both usual and unusual destinations, aimed at fostering understanding among people, empowering communities, helping to build identities, and tracing one’s roots.

Study tours

Study tours are 2- to 6-week courses that combine historical and cultural tours, formal lectures on pressing social issues, and field exposures done in partnership with universities and various people’s organisations.

Immersion tours

Immersion of at least three weeks lets travellers live as locals do and equips them with substantial knowledge, skills and attitudes in the life and struggles of farmers, fisherfolk, urban poor, workers or indigenous peoples’ communities.

Manila tours

Manila tours are usually one day tours to explore the city in a meaningful way with attention to history and culture!

Internship program

PSET offers standard and customized internship programs of at least three months for students of any educational background. These programs are designed to help would-be professionals to test their theories in practice, gauge their readiness for the world of work, and see their place in confronting the world’s most pressing problems in the context of people most affected by them.

Volunteer work

Volunteer work is a great way for travelers to contribute to society while on travel, and for practically anyone wanting to dedicate their knowledge, skills and talents in areas where they are most needed: in people’s organisations and communities working for social change. Volunteers have the option to work for PSET or for its partners operating in different parts of the Philippines.

Advocacy work

We can help to gather support for communities and organizations involved in the exchange program, fostering collaboration, and empowering them to thrive. Through our efforts, we aim to strengthen connections, enhance resources, and create a positive impact for all participants.

Capacity development

PSET can offer training designed to strengthen the capacity of communities and groups in planning, managing, and sustaining exchange programs effectively. This training not only equips participants with essential skills but also fosters collaboration and sustainability, enabling them to maximize the impact of their initiatives and drive lasting positive change within their communities.
